Drummond Group-Approved as a Complete Ambulatory EHR

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – January 15, 2015 – IDS AbbaDox EHR 14 has been tested and certified under the Drummond Group’s Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Certification Body (ONC-ACB) program. This Complete EHR Ambulatory software is compliant in accordance with the criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

“AbbaDox EHR 14 is the next logical step in our enduring commitment to creating a seamless, cloud-based IT platform enabling connectivity across the continuum-of-care,” says Yaniv Dagan, CEO of IDS. “Our new certified next-generation EHR exceeds MU requirements to support advanced cross-enterprise, cross-vendor communications and unrivaled data sharing across medical sites and EHR systems. It keeps users future-focused, while helping them qualify for Meaningful Use reimbursements today.”

Dagan also notes that achieving certification also is a demonstration of IDS’ commitment to helping providers leverage cloud technology to deliver the highest standard of care. “In addition,” he says, “our new EHR integrates seamlessly into our AbbaDox ecosystem of complementary solutions that enhance workflow efficiency.”

Drummond Group’s ONC-ACB certification program certifies that EHRs meet the meaningful use criteria for either eligible provider or hospital technology. In turn, healthcare providers using the EHR systems of certified vendors are qualified to receive federal stimulus monies upon demonstrating meaningful use of the technology – a key component of the federal government’s push to improve clinical care delivery through the adoption and effective use of EHRs by U.S. healthcare providers.

AbbaDox EHR 14 is a fully cloud-based health records system built on the core AbbaDox enterprise bus with capabilities for scheduling, insurance eligibility and meaningful use reporting and is scalable to any size practice. It eliminates the time and expense of onsite installation, maintenance and system upgrades. AbbaDox EHR integrates seamlessly with all elements of the AbbaDox ecosystem, from sophisticated reporting solutions powered by speech recognition and referring physician reporting to data analytics.

“Leveraging information technology for healthcare initiatives provides the opportunity to deliver a high-level quality of care and efficiency which essentially benefits and enhances the overall patient experience,” says Rik Drummond, CEO of the Drummond Group Inc. “We have been testing software for more than a decade and will continue to provide our extensive experience testing and certifying complex systems for multiple industries, as well as ensuring interoperability and security remain key components in the growing healthcare industry.”

This Complete EHR is 2014 Edition compliant and has been certified by an ONC-ACB in accordance with the applicable certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This certification does not represent an endorsement by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.”
