FORT LAUDERDALE, FL – April 30, 2015

IDS will highlight its AbbaDox cloud-based solutions for radiology at the Sociedad Radiológica de Puerto Rico (SOCRAD) conference in San Juan, Puerto Rico in May.  The company will be represented at the annual meeting of the Puerto Rico Chapter of the American College of Radiology by Answer Medical, its Caribbean distributor.  Showcasing the breadth of its radiology offerings, IDS will focus on the benefits of its AbbaDox Rad radiology information system (RIS), radiology reporting system and customer relationship manager (CRM) solution, which are being implemented in a growing number of Puerto Rican sites through distributor Answer Medical.

“The Caribbean and Puerto Rico in particular represent a high growth area for radiology IT, and IDS,” comments Yaniv Dagan, CEO of IDS.  “With a limited number of imaging specialists often spread over large distances, cloud radiology solutions can build practice efficiencies, help bring services to those who need them, and promote a higher standard of care.  Numerous sites in Puerto Rico are using the full suite of IDS AbbaDox products to accomplish these goals.”

Dagan also points out that for radiologists who have invested in offering services on the island, the AbbaDox CRM will help track and generate the referrals that will help make their practices a success.  Moreover, the AbbaDox-managed cloud delivery frees practices from the need for internal IT support.

AbbaDox radiology products complement a full range of innovative IDS healthcare solutions and services that provide intuitive operational workflows, automate documentation and add functionality and interoperability for hospitals and a wide range of specialized healthcare providers.

Individually, each AbbaDox component can integrate with existing IT systems to fill a gap in workflow automation, such as continuity of care documentation or critical findings communication. Collectively, they constitute an enterprise-level healthcare IT system that makes physical location irrelevant.
