Innovative integrated applications speed patient scheduling, improve office workflows and enable real-time image sharing
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL ― August 11, 2016 ― IDS, a leader in healthcare cloud computing and information management services, announced today that Doctors Imaging, a diagnostic imaging center in Metairie, Louisiana, has successfully implemented AbbaDox RIS as part of a broad range of practice management technology services IDS will provide to improve operational efficiency.
Owned by radiologist Edward Soll, M.D., Doctors Imaging sought a more responsive and powerful solution to improve scheduling, registration, office and administrative workflows, and enhance patients’ experience while calling to schedule an appointment. “The decision was an easy one when compared to the competition,” said CEO Shea Soll. “AbbaDox Cloud RIS offered many benefits over other RIS solutions on the market. As part of the implementation process, IDS customized the RIS in order to accommodate the radiologists’ Philips iSite PACS-driven workflow. By constructing a patient data summary display, IDS matched the specific functionalities so there was no change of behavior and or loss of productivity.
